The Fairy-tale Detectives

The first book begins with Sabrina and Daphne going to live with their eccentric grandmother in the New England town of Ferryport Landing. They find out that the town is filled with fairy-tale beings (or Everafters as they preferred to be called) and that they are descendants of the Brothers Grimm, making them “Fairy-tale Detectives” who must keep the Everafters in line and solve the many crimes that arise. Sabrina and Daphne, along with the mischievous fairy Puck, team up to rescue their grandmother from a giant that is wreaking havoc on the town and discover who was the one who let him loose. The series has currently released six books.
