Jerry Lavick, also known by many as “Alton’s Piano Man,” has spent his entire life in the Alton area. During the 50′s and 60′s he played piano locally for the Mack Howard’s Skyliners Band. Currently, he plays keyboard for LCCC’s Dixie Dudes and solo piano for private parties. He also plays E-flat clarinet for the New Horizons Band. Jerry’s program will feature songs by popular piano celebrities Frankie Carle, Floyd Cramer, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Scott Joplin; medleys from Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Beatles; and selected classical concert, Boogie-woogie, country, and Dixieland music.
