The Hayner Public Library District has partnered with The North Alton Godfrey Business Council and the Village of Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department to present a series of musical entertainment to be enjoyed under the stars. All concerts are free of charge and will start at 7:00 p.m. All three programs will take place at the Whispering Winds Gazebo in Glazebrook Park, Godfrey, IL. In the event of rain, the concerts will take place in the Alton High School Auditorium, 4200 Humbert Rd., Alton, IL. Bring a blanket or your lawn chairs and enjoy a great summer evening. The schedules include the following performances:
- June 17, “Shades of Blue” Jazz Ensemble
- July 15, Gary Dammer Big Band
- August 12, Sentimental Journey Big Band
