Teen Tech Week (March 8 – 13)

Come join us on Saturday, March 13, for our digital scavenger hunt. Players are set loose in the mall and the library to find items or complete certain tasks from a list. Points are given for each item on the list. The first team that finishes its list, makes it back within the time limit, and has the most points wins. Please bring your own camera or camera phone. Story Times at the Eagles Nest

Hayner Public Library will be hosting a story time once per month in the new Eagles Nest located on the upper level across from the food court. This story time is exclusively for the little ones ages 2–5 years old. This 30-minute story time includes themed stories, songs, finger plays, and manipulative.  Meeting dates are Wednesday, March 17; Wednesday,  April 21; and Wednesday,  May 19, 2010, at 11 a.m.  No registration required!

Spanish Story Times

The last Monday of every month we will be offering Spanish stories read by Hector Lozano, who usually works in the Downtown Library. The idea is to introduce one or two Spanish words at each session, so that by the end of the year the children attending will have had an introduction to the Spanish language.
