Bringing in the Arts is a fun set of portable and interactive exhibits designed to broaden children’s understanding and excite their appreciation of the arts. The Hayner Public Library KidsSpace at Alton Square will borrow two exhibits, “Music and Dance” and “Arts and Crafts” from the Glen Carbon Public Library March 1–15. The exhibits will be on display during story times and at specific times during the week. The Glen Carbon Public Library was awarded a grant for this exhibit by the Illinois State Library, Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using federal LSTA funding.

On Monday, February 22, at 10 a.m., we will start Story Time with Hector. The last Monday of every month we will be offering Spanish stories read by Hector Lozano, who usually works in the Downtown Library.
