JOIN US FOR A GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION!!

The Hayner Public Library District is excited to announce the Grand Opening of our new facility in Alton Square Mall. Relocated to 132 Alton Square (outside the J.C. Penny Court and next to Sears on the Mall lower level), the library renovation features new services, technologies and a design layout that will set Hayner apart as a flagship library location.

On Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 12:00 noon there will be a ribbon cutting in front of the library in the mall, followed by an opening of the doors for your visit. At 1:00p.m., Alton native and Secretary of State/State Librarian Jesse White will introduce the Jesse White Tumbling Team whose performances will take your breath away.

Throughout the week, the library will feature special guests and activities to continue the celebration.
