Mad Science: Fire & Ice

Fire and Ice Mad Science

Join us at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in the Alton Square Performance Room, as Mad Science presents their program Fire & Ice. When was the last time you burnt paper and there was no ash? Levitate beach balls using no hands, take our special Mad Science Shower and even take a stroll through a cemetery. Demonstrations of spectacular chemical reactions, cinematic special effects, bubbling potions and more! Volunteers are used throughout every show and some may even get to attempt to make a ball float in mid-air. You'll be amazed how much your children will learn. This program is geared towards children of all ages.

Please note: This program will be held in the library's performance room at Alton Square Mall. The performance room is located on the east side of the mall, on the second floor between the escalators and J.C. Penney.

One-time sign up for the Summer Reading Program is all that is required this year! Once your child has registered for the Summer Reading Program you can show up to as many (or as few) children's programs as you wish. No special registration is required for individual programs.

Summer Reading Program registration kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, in KidsSpace at the Alton Square Library.
