Overdue Fines

Loan Periods:

• The initial checkout period for all materials (except videos, DVDs, and software) is two weeks. The initial checkout period for videos, Dvds, and software is one week.

Checkout Limits for Materials by Format

• Books – no limit; do not take everything we have on one subject
• Audio cassettes/Audio CDs/ Music CDs – any combination of 10 per card
• Videocassettes/ DVDs – any combination of 5 per card
• Magazines – 5 issues per card
• Software on Compact Disc, Leap Pad cartridges, Puppets, Kits, Games, etc. – 5 per card

Fines:

• All overdue items checked out at Hayner; except for videos, DVDs and CD-Roms, are 10 center per item per day, not to exceed the cost of the item.

• Overdue videos, DVDs, and CD-Roms checked out at Hayner are $1.00 per item per day, not to exceed the cost of the item.

Fines are applied to overdue materials. Renew by phone before items are late.
