The first week of October is Banned Books Week! Started in 1982, this week is a celebration of the freedom to read, emphasizing the importance of being able to access information and express our ideas.

All of the titles on this list come from the American Library Association’s Office of Intellectual Freedom’s lists of the top ten challenged books between
