Community Support Services Booklet

Public libraries promote democracy in many ways; one way is to connect people to information and services. To reach out to all in the community, Hayner Library has developed a Community Support Services resource guide. The booklet is meant to help the homeless or anyone in need of social services. It offers a list of local shelters, food sources, free legal services, aging assistance, crisis help, disabilities support, homeless assistance, veterans support, warming/cooling centers, and more. Booklets are distributed throughout the community at hospitals, clinics, crisis centers, and other local organizations. You can pick up a free copy at any Hayner Library location. If you would like some booklets for your organization, please call the Reference department at 618-462-0677, ext. 2845, and we will be happy to supply you with copies.
