Dial-a-Story

For over thirty years, Hayner Library patrons have adored Dial-A-Story. It is a safe, free, educational, and entertaining activity for children—available from the comfort of your home! Dial-A-Story is available twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year! Children may call (618) 462-TALE (618-462-8253) to listen to a short story recorded by a Hayner Library KidsSpace staff member. Each story lasts approximately five minutes and is geared toward young children. A different story is available each week.
