Community Science Series- Helping NASA: Small Changes Can Be Significant

September 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for a new lecture series with The Nature Institutes’s Ramona Pollard! Focused on all the ways that the wider community can participate in ongoing science projects, Ramona will share information and strategies that will help scientists gain real world data! Don’t miss these opportunities to help move science forward!

Scientists with NASA are working to figure out what satellite images are telling us about the natural world. Through observing clouds, weather patterns, and other day-to-day changes, you can help inform the researchers doing that work! The community science app Globe Observer is a champion at asking for basic information from people all over the world that can give insight into what is happening in real time in specific places. Join us to find out what this data collection is teaching us about our world and find out how to get involved!
